In our look at the latest Chelsea-related news stories from the media, Willian has reportedly agreed a contract extension with the club, Chelsea are being linked with a future move for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have ended their interest in signing Tiemoue Bakayoko.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Willian to extend his contract by another year.
The Brazilian winger, who turns 31 next month, has just one year left on the deal he signed with the club in 2016 but the extension would see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2021.
‘Willian has been in talks for months and is now ready to commit his future to the club despite interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United over the past 12 months,’ the paper reports.
‘The Brazil international still has a year remaining on his contract and Chelsea have taken some convincing to extend it. But with the Blues having being handed a transfer ban by FIFA for the next two windows Chelsea are willing to give the winger what he wants.’
Since joining the club from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013, Willian has won five major trophies with the Blues including two Premier League titles and last season’s Europa League.
‘This club is very special to me,’ he said in March. ‘I won titles here, I have the affection from the fans and from the people that work in the club. I feel comfortable to stay.’
